NOT fond of this one

Pros: Price, features Cons: I know I don't have the best electricity here in Mexico, but when the UPS keeps reporting NO current, but other equipment plugged into the same outlet (printers, surge protectors, speakers, other UPSs, etc.) doesn't protest?! I submitted a ticket with CP month+ ago - no response! Overall Review: Seriously doubt I'll buy another CP product.

Another DOA

Pros: None Cons: Wouldn't ever power up! Overall Review: Over the past 4 months my experience with Cyber Power has slid from very good to very poor! 4 DOA products out of 6 is terrible! Newegg has satisfactory rectified all the DOAs. Love Newegg, but Cyber Power needs to fix their QC problem.

Has worked so far for me

Pros: Low cost, nice design, dependable, generous capacity for the cost. Cons: It doesn't have an LCD display on the front like some of the other CyberPower batter backup units, despite the description. I almost returned it for this reason, but figured it wasn't worth the hassle, although I miss the display. Also, the time allotted to power-off AFTER hibernation is initiated is FIXED (at two minutes, I believe). If your system takes more than this amount of time to complete hibernation, you've go...

Piece of mind all the Time

Pros: Let me start by saying I no longer own the 1 I use to have. CyberPower CP1200AVR 1200VA 720W 8 Outlets UPS. I bought this model above years ago. I had it for many years without issues other then software that I only tried once on an xp pc and it had to many bugs back then so I uninstalled it and ran the ups without it. The CP1200AVR I owned cost me roughly $160 back then and I had my pc with a 580w psu in it, 2 monitors, and a lamp connected to the battery side of the jacks (power went out...

Sort-of good when they work...

Pros: Very responsive. No power drop-outs, provides power no matter what the situation is. I like the voltage readouts and load meter in the monitoring software. Cons: Bought six of these when I needed to replace my battery backups in 2006...three of them died a few weeks ago. They just shut off (not at the same time, within a few days of each other) while running on a regular day. They seem to be undetectable by the computers at times. These are advertised as 720 watt backup units for 145 minut...

Works well..

Pros: This is actually my third CyberPower UPS and recently purchased this for my HTPC system. It seems they updated their monitoring software to give it a more robust look. Although I am a little dismayed the fact I can't use the serial port with their software. The website said to use WindowsXP's UPS monitoring function for serial port which is very limited to it's use. I never did get the serial portion to work right with WinXP so stick with their software in USB mode. Just wish it works with...

Pros: Nice, compact form factorSolid voltage regulationQuiet operationLow heat generation Cons: None observed Overall Review: Purchased two of these for home theatre system plus one more on the way to replace my 6+ year old (beige) Compaq 1000VA unit. Very nice design with solid voltage regulation. Replaced an 1100VA APC unit which had constant buzz in the home theater setup. To the reviewer who complained about noise during battery operation : that is normal for *every* UPS when running on batte...

Works better than others claim

Pros: Automatic voltage regulator (AVR) works very well, and makes this product line a notch above others. Cons: None. Overall Review: To the other reviewers who experienced frequent battery clicks, you should consider the possibility that the wiring/current in your home is faulty and this is being detected by the AVR, causing the battery to kick-in during minor voltage drops. The unit will keep making annoying clicks if your home is poorly wired.

Pros: Good run time. I usually give it 5 minutes to see if the power is coming back on, then shut down, but the longest I ever let it run after a power outage was about 15 minutes. That was with an AMD 64 X2 4400+, 2GB RAM, 2HD's, GeForce GTX 260 and a 22" LCD.I have my system, cable modem and router plugged into the battery port. Cons: It died a few months after the warranty expired.I'm don't like the Power Panel software that you have to install if you want to monitor the UPS or have it shut d...

Works well for business pc

Pros: Never switched to battery unnecessarily. Never lost power and lost pc. Cons: None for me. Overall Review: I don't use the supplied software. I'll throw that out first and formost. I don't know how stable it is but I don't feel the need to use it. That said, this UPS has always worked fine. I'm happy.
