I love this UPS!

Pros: - Line interactive. It corrects a fair amount of line problems without the need to switch to battery.- High VA capacity, 6 outlets on battery (when needed).- Fast re-charge time (2-4) hours to 90% vs 16 hours on other brands!!- Battery is hot-swappable so you can keep running your mission-critical servers during battery maintenance cycles.- Price is less than many other devices with fewer features and capacities. Cons: Form factor - it is a bit bulky although this is a very minor drawback ...

Pros: small size, with lots of power, can work with Vista 64bit with a little extra work... (see other thoughts) Cons: No Native Vista 64bit support. though it is usb, device is not seen as a battery by your OS, you must use Tripplite software to enable safe shutdown options. Vista users, the built in power options are perfect and require no 3rd party software to run, you just need to get vista to see that you plugged in a battery. Overall Review: After a couple tech supports and various forums ...

I've bought 5 of them

Pros: Excellent Back up, great socket layout, terrific price. Cons: none yet. Overall Review: It fits the 850-and 95 rosewill power supplies perfectly.

Don't buy this UPS

Pros: None Cons: This UPS cannot stand any power surge. I can unplug it from power source and it'll power the computer. BUT, whenever there is a surge, the device shuts down! This makes the UPS useless whenever there is a power hicup. I can't even do work! And, after 5 months into use this UPS it started to issue shutdown command through the USB connection when the computer is booting! I ended up have to remove the USB connection so I can at least boot into the computer!!I call the tech support a...

Solid UPS for the Money

Pros: The VA rating is excellent for the money. Unlike the revision pictured though, mine has passive cooling and a somewhat more accessible outlet layout. Clear and concise LEDs on the front, and the relay is quieter than I've heard in a lot of similar UPSes (that's what's responsible for the "snap" sound when the UPS switches on). Also has a fairly small footprint for the amount of power it provides. Cons: Even though the outlet layout is better than that pictured, I still had to add some 7" e...

Get an APC

Pros: Price and advertised features Cons: Out of the box the unit complained intermittently that the battery had a very low voltage and them within the same second it would report that the voltage was normal. Tech support did not help as other versions of the software produced the same results. I didn't pursue it further. Two weeks ago it complained that the input voltage was 150V. I check the outlet with a digital meter and the voltage was 124V. This weekend the UPS turned off completely and I ...

Pros: Read my previous reviews... Cons: .....read my other thoughts, but the ONLY thing that is a CON about this device is that they dont have working drivers. THEY do have software (64bit even) that will allow you to use this UPS on your pc, but you have to use their software and your limited to functions. Overall Review: I have been checking tripp lites website on and off and I now see that they offer the PowerAlert Local (PAL) software for both 32bit & 64bit Vista. Software was added on 12-29...

dont know...

Pros: small size, allows user to hide it pretty well Cons: um...no vista 64 bit support Overall Review: I was aware that the software was not 64bit but I was under the impression vista would still see that a battery was installed and I was going to use the vista built in power options. I am working with Tripplite tech support to see if their is something they can do.

Solid performer for a value price

Pros: Stable: this UPS is rock solid! Even though it is not discussed much here, it has a sensitivity dial in the back that allows you to adjust its delay in kicking over to the battery when you have minor ripples in AC line power. This is a valuable feature for those in areas that suffer from frequent, minor "brownouts". The manual recommends running the unit on a circuit that doesn't share a large appliance, such as an A/C or refrigerator, but I've seen no issues with a mid-sized A/C. Most of ...

Great Buy, and price is a dealmaker

Pros: It has a high capacity (runs our 500watt server, small phone line system, 2 24-port switches, and a T1 router for over 10 mins TESTED not theory)For the price it is absolutely a steal. 1500VA is amazing at this price. Cons: Bulky, can't mount in the rackmount position. Also, this is the lower end model without the ability to plug in another battery in the back, but then again, for the price, you can't expect that. Overall Review: This thing does really well to regulate the voltage to our p...
